Wedding seating chart

An online wedding seating chart that fills itself from your RSVPs

Seating guests is far easier when the list keeps itself up to date. Enlázate builds your seating plan from the people who confirmed, plus-ones included, and frees their seats the moment an answer changes.

Free until you publish · no card · €49 one-time per wedding

How the seating plan works

Drag and drop

Drag each guest onto their table. On a phone, tap the guest and then the table.

Confirmed guests only

Only guests who said yes appear, and each plus-one sits next to the person bringing them.

Always current

If someone switches to “can’t make it” or drops a plus-one, their seat frees up automatically.

Tables your way

Up to 60 named tables with 1 to 30 seats each, and a counter showing how many guests are still unseated.

Free and private

Part of the free plan and visible only to you in your dashboard; guests never see it.

Why make your seating chart online

A seating chart on paper or in a spreadsheet goes stale the moment a new RSVP arrives or someone cancels. Here the plan is wired to your online RSVP: every guest who confirms lands in “No table”, ready to seat, with their plus-ones by name, and anyone who drops out leaves their table without you having to check by hand.

Confirmations come in through your published digital wedding invitation, and you can also add the ones you receive by phone yourself. The seating plan itself is free, just like the guest list and the digital save the date.

Tips for a drama-free seating plan

Our blog has the full guide on organising your seating plan without the drama.

  • Start with the easy tables: close family, friend groups who already know each other, work colleagues.
  • Keep couples and plus-ones together; the plan always shows them attached to whoever brings them.
  • Think of older guests: near the exit and the restrooms, away from the speakers.
  • Mix groups thoughtfully: one familiar face per table gets conversation going.
  • Have the plan nearly final when your RSVP deadline passes, then only adjust last-minute changes.

From RSVP to caterer

If your form asks about allergies and diets, you’ll see the totals alongside the confirmations, and you can export every answer as a CSV for your caterer. Still building your list? Start with our wedding guest list template, and plan the day itself with the wedding day timeline generator.

Your seating chart in 4 steps

  1. Collect RSVPs

Guests confirm from the invitation, naming their plus-ones.

  2. Create tables

Add tables, name them (Family, University, Table 7…) and set the number of seats.

  3. Seat your guests

Drag them from “No table” or tap guest then table. Everything saves automatically.

  4. Review changes

When someone changes their answer, their seat frees up; you only need to place what’s new.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Enlázate seating chart free?

Yes. The seating plan is included in the free plan, along with the guest list and the save-the-date email.

Do plus-ones get their own seat?

Yes. Every companion a guest names in their RSVP takes a seat and appears next to the person bringing them.

What happens if a guest changes their RSVP?

If they switch to not attending, their seat frees up automatically. If a plus-one’s name changes, that person goes back to “No table” for you to place.

How many tables can I create?

Up to 60 tables, each with its own name and between 1 and 30 seats. New tables start with 8.

Can guests see the seating chart?

No. The seating plan lives only in your dashboard and is not shown on the invitation.
