A Canva wedding invitation alternative that also collects your RSVPs
Canva is brilliant for design, and plenty of couples make their invitation there. The hard part comes next: knowing who’s coming, with how many plus-ones and which allergies. Enlázate brings both together — a beautiful invitation and an RSVP with a dashboard.

Designing in Canva: the good and the missing
Canva has thousands of wedding templates, a very easy editor and the freedom to place every element exactly where you want. You can download the invitation as an image or PDF and send it on WhatsApp, or publish it as a site with Canva Websites. Canva also lets you add forms to designs.
However, according to Canva’s own help centre (November 2026), forms don’t collect responses when a design is downloaded as an image or PDF, and on Canva Websites responses are anonymous, so they aren’t tied to any particular guest. The workaround is to link a Google Form or another external form… and end up matching a spreadsheet against their guest list by hand.
What changes with Enlázate
The trade-off: less freedom than a blank canvas. You choose from 13 designs and adjust colours, text and photos. Have a look at the Botánico demo to get a feel for it.
- Every guest gets a personal link with their name pre-filled, and their answer is tied to them. You can see who has replied and who hasn’t.
- A proper wedding RSVP: named plus-ones, dietary needs, transport, song requests and up to five custom questions. See the RSVP.
- A dashboard with totals for headcount, meals and transport, CSV export, and a seating chart that fills itself with confirmed guests.
- Seven languages at once, without duplicating the design. Multilingual invitations.
- It updates itself: change the timings and everyone sees the new version at the same link.
The best of both
You don’t have to give up Canva. You can design a printed card or an image save the date in Canva and add the QR code of your Enlázate invitation, which is generated for free. The design stays yours and the RSVPs arrive neatly organised.
Frequently asked questions
Is Enlázate free like Canva?
Building, editing and previewing the invitation is free with no time limit, and so are the guest list and seating plan. Publishing it and collecting RSVPs costs a one-time €49 per wedding, with no subscription.
Can I use my Canva design in Enlázate?
It can’t be imported as such, but you can upload photos (with Premium) and tweak the colours to match. And you can keep using Canva for a printed card carrying your invitation’s QR code.
Why isn’t an image plus a Google Form enough?
It works, but every answer arrives unlinked to your guest list: you match data by hand, chase non-responders and resend the image when something changes. Enlázate does that for you.
Do guests need an account or an app?
No. They open the link on their phone and reply in under a minute, without signing up.
Will our invitation show up on Google?
No. Search engines are told not to index invitations, and you can add an access code.
