How to choose your invitation design
Start with the wedding, not your favourite colour: the venue, the time of day and the mood you want guests to feel. The invitation is the first glimpse of your day, so it should hint at what is coming. A few pointers:
- Countryside, garden or vineyard: Botánico or Acuarela.
- Beach or sunset ceremony: Atardecer or Verano.
- Black-tie dinner or evening wedding: Noche or Esmeralda.
- Formal and traditional: Clásico or Mozaira.
- City or editorial style: Minimal or Tinta.
- Tender or playful: Romance or Dulce; for an earthy Mediterranean feel, Terracota.
Colours that match your wedding
Every design ships with a palette chosen so the text reads comfortably, but it is only a starting point. In the editor you can change the accent, background and ink colours to match your flowers, stationery or bridal party, while the design keeps its typefaces, dividers and motifs.
One tip: if you change the colours, check the preview on your phone to make sure text and buttons are still easy to read, especially on dark backgrounds.
Every design has a live sample invitation
Screenshots only tell half the story; an invitation makes more sense in motion. Each design has a public sample invitation you can open on your phone: the wax-seal opening, the couple’s names and the date as animated scenes, and an ambient layer that belongs to that design (petals, leaves, fireflies or soft bokeh). Each part of the animation can be switched off.
Choosing is not a commitment: you can switch designs whenever you like and all your content stays put, even after the invitation has gone out. Every design is included: building and previewing is free and you pay €49 once when you publish. See pricing or what a digital wedding invitation includes.
