What the generator takes into account
Your type of ceremony
A civil ceremony runs 20–30 minutes, a religious one 45–60. The rest of the day moves with it.
Travel between venues
Moving venues adds the travel minutes you enter plus a 15-minute margin. Wedding guest transport.
Coaches on your times
If you’ve booked a guest coach, you type in the departures agreed with the company: the generator places them in the timeline and flags any that clash with arrival or the end of the night.
15-minute buffers
Between ceremony and drinks, and between drinks and dinner: the cushion that keeps the day flowing.
Invitation-ready format
One button copies the schedule as “HH:MM Title” lines, ready to paste into your digital wedding invitation.
How your timeline is worked out
Everything starts from the ceremony time, the one block with zero forgiveness: if it starts late, the delay drags all the way to the last song. So the generator asks guests to arrive 30 minutes early and leaves 15 minutes before the drinks for hugs, congratulations and travel.
The drinks reception is your shock absorber: if the ceremony runs long, it shortens and nobody notices. It fits group photos at the start, while people are still easy to gather, and 30–40 minutes of couple portraits. If you prefer a first look before the ceremony, getting ready moves earlier and you get to enjoy the drinks with your guests.
At dinner, speeches go between courses and the first dance comes straight after dessert, as the hinge between the meal and the party. It all follows our guide to the wedding day timeline.
From timeline to the schedule on your invitation
There are two versions of the same day. The full timeline, with hair, photos and your grand entrance, is for you, your partner and your suppliers: send it about two weeks before, with day-of contact numbers. The guest version only needs what affects them: when to arrive, when each part starts and when the coaches you’ve booked leave.
“Copy in Enlázate format” produces that guest version: up to 12 “HH:MM Title” lines, coach departures included, that you can paste as they are into the Schedule of the day on your invitation. If something changes at the last minute, you edit it once and everyone sees it on the same link. For the rest of your invitation, try the wording generator and the online RSVP.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a wedding day last?
From ceremony to last dance, most weddings run eight to nine hours for guests, and several more for the couple once you add hair, make-up and photos. The generator shows both views.
How long should the drinks reception be?
Plan around 90 minutes, or up to two hours if you have a lot of photos. It absorbs any ceremony overrun and leaves time for group and couple photos without leaving guests standing forever.
When do the speeches happen?
Spreading them between courses works best: one between starter and main, another before dessert. Agree on about five minutes each: three short speeches move people, six long ones wear them out.
Which moments should go on the invitation?
Only what guests need: arrival, ceremony, any transfer, drinks, dinner, first dance, party and coach times. The Enlázate format picks those moments for you and keeps them to 12.
Does it work for a morning or midday wedding?
Yes. Set any ceremony and end time you like: the generator calculates the rest with the same buffers.
Does the generator work out the coach times?
No. Departure times are set with your coach company, based on the route, the drivers and what you book. Tick “Guest coach or shuttle” and enter the departure to the ceremony and the return times you’ve agreed: the generator places them in the timeline and warns you if the coach leaves after guests are due to arrive or a return is after the party ends.
