What Joy and Zola do well

Both are mature, polished platforms. According to their websites (November 2026), Joy offers a free wedding website with online RSVP for several events (rehearsal dinner, brunch…), a guest list, a seating chart tool, a matching app and a registry with cash funds. Zola offers a free wedding website tied into its own registry, an RSVP flow, a guest list and a seating chart tool; a custom domain is a paid extra.

Both tie the website to their own registry. Zola’s website, for example, lists a processing fee on cash-fund gifts paid by card (2.5% when we checked), with a Venmo option. If you are registering for gifts in the US, that integration is genuinely useful.

Where a European wedding needs something different

  • Several languages at once. Enlázate shows the whole invitation — RSVP included — in Spanish, English, Catalan, French, German, Italian and Portuguese, with a language switcher, plus up to three custom languages. Joy’s own guide to bilingual sites suggests duplicating pages and rewriting them. Multilingual invitations.
  • WhatsApp, not just email. Every guest gets a personal link with their name pre-filled, sent with one tap from your guest list. WhatsApp invitations.
  • Euro pricing, no subscription. Building is free; publishing is €49 once per wedding, VAT included. See pricing.
  • Gifts the European way. Show your own IBAN, PayPal link or Bizum number; guests pay you directly and Enlázate takes no fee.
  • Privacy by default. Invitations are kept out of search engines, an access code is optional, guest pages use only a cookieless first-party visit counter, and you remain the data controller of your guests’ answers.

Built around the RSVP

Enlázate is not a registry or a planning suite: it is a digital wedding invitation with a thorough online RSVP. Guests confirm attendance, named plus-ones, dietary needs, transport and a song request in under a minute, and you see live totals, export to CSV and drag confirmed guests onto a free seating chart. You can even ask your AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT and others) to build the invitation for you.

Frequently asked questions

Is Enlázate free like Joy and Zola?

Building, editing and previewing are free with no time limit, and so are the guest list and seating plan. Publishing costs a one-time €49 per wedding. Joy and Zola keep the website itself free; Enlázate takes nothing from your gifts.

Can I use Enlázate with a Zola or Joy registry?

Yes. Add a text block with the link to your registry, or show your bank details in the gift section. You can use a registry for gifts and Enlázate for the invitation and RSVPs.

Does Enlázate work for a US wedding?

It works anywhere, but it is designed for European weddings: euro pricing, seven guest languages and WhatsApp sharing. For a US-only wedding with a US registry, Joy or Zola may suit you better.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. They open the link on any phone or computer and reply in under a minute, with no account.

Is our invitation private?

Yes. Published invitations are only visible to people with the link, search engines are told not to index them, and you can add an access code.
