Creating Your Wedding Invitation With Your AI Assistant: How It Works

Young couple at home: he sits on the floor with a laptop, she leans over from the bed with a mug of coffee

Until now, building your online wedding invitation meant a few minutes with a form: names, date, venue, sections, RSVP questions. It’s still quick, but there’s a shortcut now: tell your AI assistant and let it build the invitation for you. You only have to do two things: pick the design you like best and pay when you want to publish. The assistant can take care of everything else.

What the assistant does for you

Once connected, the assistant can:

What it cannot do: pay on your behalf, change your email or delete your account. Payment is always yours, with your card, in the browser.

How to connect it (two minutes)

The assistant connects through MCP, an open standard that lets AI models use external tools. Nothing to install:

  1. In your assistant, find the connectors or MCP servers option and add the address https://enlazate.es/mcp.
    • Claude (web, desktop or mobile, on any plan; the free plan allows one custom connector): Customize → Connectors → “+” → “Add custom connector”. On Team and Enterprise plans an admin adds it first.
    • Claude Code: one command, claude mcp add --transport http enlazate https://enlazate.es/mcp, then /mcp to sign in.
    • ChatGPT: web app only, on a paid plan, with Developer mode switched on (Settings → Plugins — formerly “Connectors” — → Advanced settings → Developer mode → “Add custom connector”). Be aware that OpenAI currently limits custom connectors on Plus and Pro accounts to read-only, so creating and editing the invitation from ChatGPT only works in Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces. If your ChatGPT can only “look things up”, use Claude.
    • Cursor, Codex and other MCP clients: add a remote (HTTP) server with that address.
  2. Your browser opens: sign in with your email (you get a link, no passwords) and approve the connection. The screen tells you exactly what the assistant will and won’t be able to do.
  3. Done. Go back to the chat and talk normally.

If you’d rather build it yourself, the guide to creating an online wedding invitation is still the classic route.

Connect your assistant and ask for your invitation: creating and previewing is free, you only pay when you publish.

An example conversation

It usually goes like this:

You: We’re getting married on 12 June 2027 at 5:30 pm at Finca El Roble in Valencia. We’re Anna and James. Create our invitation.

Assistant: I’ve created your wedding at enlazate.es/w/anna-and-james with the date, time and venue. Before going on, which design do you prefer? Here are the samples: Mozaira (ivory and gold), Botánico (sage green), Noche (midnight blue with gold)…

You choose the design by looking at the samples; the assistant never decides on its own. Then:

You: Botánico. Add a warm welcome message, the schedule (ceremony 5:30 pm, cocktails 7 pm, dinner 9 pm, party 11 pm), a section with the dress code “summer formal”, and ask guests whether they need accommodation.

Assistant: Done. Here’s the preview link to see it on your phone. Anything to change?

When you’re happy, ask for the payment link, pay, and tell it to publish. It hands you the public address to share on WhatsApp or, if you give it your guest list, a personal link for each guest with their name already filled in.

Tips for a smooth run

In short

You connect the assistant once, tell it about your wedding, and it creates, fills in and adjusts the invitation while you review it on your phone. You choose the design, pay when publishing and share the link. It’s the same invitation as ever, with the same step-by-step RSVP and the same response dashboard; you just dictated it instead of typing it.

Frequently asked questions

Which AI assistants can create the invitation?

Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers: Claude (web, desktop and mobile, on any plan), Claude Code, Cursor and others. Add enlazate.es/mcp as a connector and sign in with your email when the browser opens. ChatGPT needs a paid plan and Developer mode in the web app, and today only Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces allow write actions such as creating the invitation.

Can the assistant pay or publish without our permission?

No. The assistant can only generate the payment link; you enter your card in the browser yourself. Publishing requires the wedding to be paid, and you can revoke the connection from your assistant at any time.

How much does it cost to create the invitation with the assistant?

The same as doing it by hand: creating, editing and previewing is free with no time limit. You only pay when you publish, €49 once per wedding.

Creating and previewing your invitation with RSVP is free — no card, no time limit. You only pay a one-time €49 when you publish.
